Flextronics releases G700 Quad-Core

Platform based around Xeon processors

 

Flextronics has released its G700 Quad-Core platform which is based around Intel's Xeon processor E5335 and the 5000P chipset.


In a press release Sean Burke, President of Flextronics' Computing Segment said that his company had developed a flexible rack mount platform containing two Quad-Core Intel processors for customers seeking a high-performance.

 
The platform will mean that OEMs can build high performance systems and get to market very quickly.


The G700 includes eight cores per platform, which provides high performance and energy-efficiency for high-end network and security appliance applications.
