Dell Inc. announced that it is delaying the issuance of its fiscal 2008 Q2 financial report until it has completed its financial restatement process.
We reported in earlier news articles that Dell had discovered significant accounting irregularities in prior years and would be required after intensive auditing to revise and reissue some of its financial reports.
Dell indicated that it would file its required 10-Q with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sometime in early November.
