Zotac was the surprise of 2007, when the company backed up by its PC partner decided to do Nvidia only. The other big ATI partner that wants to remain undisclosed plans to do the same. That is how the Hero brand was born.

We got confirmation that Hero is a separate company, but again, very close to this particular ATI partner company.

This “separate” company called Hero will focus solely on Nvidia. They believe this is the best way; it won’t confuse things for existing customers and it won’t upset ATI, who cherishes its long-term friendship with this significant brand. It is not Sapphire, but it is very big brand that you certanly know.
