Shuttle launches SG33G6 Deluxe

The XPC Barebone with Intel G33 Express

 

Like the XPC Barebone SG33G5, the new SFF PC from Shuttle supports Intel Core 2 processors and up to 4GB of DDR2-800 memory in dual channel mode. Thanks to the Intel's GMA 3100 it also has a HDMI output.

As for the motherboard specifications it has the Intel G33 Express / ICH9DH chipset and has a support for Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo E6000/E4000, Pentium Dual-Core E2000, Celeron 400 Series processors with Socket 775 up to FSB 1333MHz. It can accommodate up to 4 GB of dual channel DDR2-800, that can be overclocked to 1066MHz.

When it comes to graphics, it has a DX9 ready Intel's GMA3100 with HDMI/HDCP support. Audio is handled over the 8 channel HD audio, Realtek ALC888DD codec, with Dolby Digital Live! and DTS Connect. It also comes with one PCIe X16 and one PCI for further expansion.

Networking is done over the Gigabit LAN or 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and it also has Bluetooth 2.0 dongle. Those are the special features of the Deluxe series. Beside those, the deluxe series also feature Fingerprint recognition technology, Speed-link that is used for connecting 2 PCs via USB. The Deluxe variant also comes equipped with a 300 Watt power supply.

As for the other connectors the new SG33G6 Deluxe features two eSATA, two FireWire, six USB 2.0 and three SATA2 connectors. Everything is packed in a (L)31 x (W)20 x (H)18.5cm G6-type aluminum chassis  that features one 5.25 inch and two 3.5 inch storage bays. All you need to set up a complete PC systems are a processor, memory and drives, and a graphics card if you wish to get some gaming performance out of it.

The suggested retail price of the new Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G6 Deluxe is €366.
