Well, another delay. Daamit you are gonna make me buy my first nVidia card ever! I will be patient till april, but if no real improvement over 8800gtx will be made, no way i will wait to buy a X2900Fan-tards edition. I do think there must be a really serious problem, not only about drivers like Fudo said, but also with the chips. I do think that no chiphouse would be so self-destructive to not release an already ready product. And all the thing with ''marketing move'' is only a smog courtain behind which you will find a barely good card and a lot of production problems. Hope that when it will be launched won't have as many problems as 8800 (with hardware and software screwed)

*Prayn' for a veery good r600* Wink

Ah btw, just registred hi all guys! Grin

Fuad tell us about the R650, is this the 65nm chip?  And is the R600 the 80nm chip?

No way man! We've been waiting for R600 for ages. It's still not out yet. Are we now gonna start waiting for R700?

Nope. If R600 is significantly better than G80 and it doesn't waste as much electricity as I fear, I'll buy it. If not, I'll buy a 8800GTX. I'm not a patient person, I get tired of waiting, you know. Smiley

According the theinq.net, http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=38837

R600 got heat and huge power consumption because it is manufactured under a 80nm manufacturing process, and therefore it will be replace by R650 core under 65nm manufacturing technology. Therefore the whole core need to redesigned and causing a delay.
