Is there any further information about this?
I've googled about the outerweb, but not come across anything as yet.
You had a hands on with it Fudo?
Is it a motion sensor controller, like a Wiimote in the form of a headband or a passive tracker like the TrackIR ?
or is it actual braincontrol, like this product http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/12/g-tec-launches-ready-to-go-brain-computer-interface-kit/ - which only manages pong Sad

A little too much money for most people.

$300 US is for very early adopters.  Wink

If $75 US, the volume of sales would go up quickly.

Some further info on bit-tech

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/03/17/ocz_controls_games_with_your_mind/

"The NIA separates three classes of neural and “myographic” signals into “electro oculographic, electro encrphalographic and electromyographic signals”. The brain, eye and facial activity signals are decoded by the external box and combined in a way that can be read as unique commands by the PC.

Whilst the guy demonstrating still had to use the mouse to control where the character looked, he was still able to control all actual movement, changing weapons and firing entirely through the strap."

Hi!

I had the chance to try it out at the Cebit Wink

I can say it is great!
First I was suprised and I didn't know how it should work. 5 Minutes later I was playing UT04 with it. Cool

Here how it works actually:
It's all about your chin^^ You are moving you forehead with your chin. If you put up your chin a little bit, you'll jump. A little bit more: you are running forward. Much more: you are shooting and running. If you are looking fast to the left side (just with the eyes), you are jumping there. It's the same if you are looking fast to the right side.
Ofcourse you can configure it for your game and settings.
It so much fun!
You need still your mouse to look around, but you need actually no keyboard.

My informations are at the moment that it will cost about 300$ and will release Q3 2007 Wink But it can change everytime.

I just can't wait for it, but I hope it won't cost so much so I can buy it Cheesy

btw: sorry for my english Wink

Not really. Nobody will be scared until its time to be scared.

Dunno, seems impressive, but I think it's useless. I encountered such a device end you literally seem like a retarded person while gaming.

What if you're smoking and need to move your head in order not to burn your armchair? What if somebody enters the room and you quickly glance at him? Yeah, a lot of cursing will be involved. Plus the price - $300? You've got to be kidding me.

Personally, I think this is marchitecture in a true sense of this word.
