Windows 7 Student Discount

Dear Fudzilla Community,

Im searching for a student /academic discount and I found a couple of pages like JourneyEd or Academic Superstore. The problem is that they dont seem very reliable and all negative reviews are just horrible (All positive ones are posted by guys who just made one 5 star post for the site O.o).
I also tried to send something to windows itself over Ultimate-steal, but they didnt answer after 3 weeks and even after my second submission.

Any suggestions ? Right now im a Junior at Highschool in Michigan.
I might try to call Microsoft after the holidays.

Didn't check those websites but most Universities have an arrangement with Microsoft via their computer science departments allowing students free access to WIndows 7, it might be worth checking up on that

One problem is Win 7 high school student purchase is confusing with very limited access.
Tons of Colleges... but we need High School access.

@rambaldi: If I would be a university student I would know what to do, but Im still Highschool.

I gonna send another request to Microsoft today again with something else attached. Then i gonna call them in a few days.

I once asked my Tech-Department in school, but they are kinda stupid (Im better at SQL then they are O.o) and didnt get at all what a edu-email is ...

... If you have a counselor in your school, and you should, then visit with that person.
Once you explain your delima, you should get directions to a person in your education
system who will help with the... arrangements and or contacts. You may have to ask
for directions to a County Education Administrator. Good luck, y
