3 Monitors solution
«

Hello Guys.
I'm going to buy a new PC in march or so and I want to use 3 (or maybe even more) monitors on it. I can't use 3rd party solutions like that Matrox triplehead2go because I can't find it in my contry.
I heard of ATI's eyeinfinity technology. Am I able to use it with cards like 5850 or 5870?
What about the upcoming fermi cards? Will they come with any solution for that?
I hope you guys can help me.
Thanks.

As far as I know (but don't quote me on this) all of the 5xx0 line support eyefinity. There are big benefits to it as well in they are only treated as a single monitor to the system. From the last things I had heard the Fermi line did not include a similar technology but can still support more than one monitor but in the traditional fashion.

The current HD 5000 series cards support three monitors. However, you need one monitor hooked up to DisplayPort to use three in total. They said they were going to come out with cards supporting six monitors, I'm not sure if they have released any that do yet.
