Six Cores AMD could be a hit?

If intels new six core is a pricey extreme edition only, seems like amd could take advantage of that with a mainstream version of their own. No matter the lack of performance, alot of people are gonna want to say they got a six core and amd could sell alot of parts if they work it right. What everyone else think?

It would be an interesting part. If it makes it to the desktop probably competing with Core 2 Extreme quads or maybe the low end i7s (probably i5s or i3s though) with their hyper threading enabled.
