NVIDIA has officially announced the order of Q2 with TSMC and UMC. NVIDIA obviously has planned to start making 40nm GPU in Q2.these products include GT214、GT216 as well as high-end mobile graphics GT215.
It is believed that NVIDIA should adopt 40nm technology in low-end products, and then turn to mainstream, high-end graphics. However, NVIDIA start scheme of 40nm technology is still not sure.
Previous reports said that NVIDIA is now developing 40nm program, among which 40nmgraphics will be expected to launch at the beginning of Q2. NVIDIA’s main opponent may be AMD RV8x0 40nm graphic
