hi im new

my rig:

9850 bb edition

4 gbs of 1066 ddr2 memory

asus 3870 x2 top which sucks ballz

I am currently thinking of upgrading my graphics into crossfire 5850 or a single 5870.

im only 14 so i need to save money for it.

I am only interested in starcraft2 next year.

my questions are will my rig with 4 more gbs of ram and the new graphics card run sc2 on 4x aa high settings and 1920 x 1200 24 inch

will my cpu be able to make maximum performance for those graphics cards.

can some one link where i can download 3d vantage score tester thx very much

First off, welcome to the forums!

Futuremark's 3DMark Vantage can be downloaded here:

The Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 1GB is currently going on Newegg for $161.99, which means the cost for CrossFire would be pretty reasonable I assume.  Since the card has a 256-bit memory interface but 1GB of GDDR3, yes, it should provide adequate performance for a 1920x1200 display in CrossFire

On the other hand, EVGA's GeForce 9800GTX+ is going for $154.99 after rebates at the moment ($174.99 up front).  Performance is supposed to be slightly better.  Just a thought. Wink

im talking about starcraft 2 sry sc2 the shortened version Cheesy

i don't think 2 gbs of ggr3 will do work for that.

why don't i tell ya the optimal settings not the best for the game.

512 graphics 2 gb memory 2.5 ghz x 2 amd or intel so basically double crysis specs.

 i wanna that game on 1920 x 1200 4x aa, high settings

the game will land in q2,q3 next 2009 Smiley

im asking for my stupid phenom 9850 black box is 2 5850s or 1 single 5870 gonna do the job.

my motherboard is xfire amd 2+
