Greetings!
I found a very interesting video card. It's the 8800GTS (512MB) SSC from EVGA, which, we all know, is the same card like the 9800GTX yet with slower clocks.
The SSC is clocked at the niveau of the new upcomming GTX+.
What do you recommend: should I take the SSC for an incredible low price of 128€ or take the new ATI HD 4850 for about 145€ here in Germany?

I heared that both cards are similar in performance, right?
You can find the price>>HERE<<

I would personally get the 4850 in your situation since it actually has slightly better performance over-all than the 9800GTX (and especially an 8800 GTS 512). Additionally, it supports DX10.1.

Thanks Smills for Your appraisal.
Unfortunatelly this attractive offer lasted not long enough. So I will take the HD 4850.
I think it's the best card you can get for around 150€.

btw. the HD 4870 ist faster than 260 GTX...
