I'm not kidding man they have a new driver every 24 hours or so, here is their inside server: http://74.50.4.243/nvidia/170series/

They are also have always some "optimizations" to speed up fps in trade for quality. I also have an ATI card and for not that hardcore gamers and HD3850 or HD3870 is just fine. best, Eliot.

I agree with aznstriker92 , I like ATI more and much more than nVIDIA , I know that one of it's reasons is the better video playback capabilities and I love ATI's Windows drivers unlike it's Linux drivers ATI's Linux support is terrible it's really hard to make a card working and when it is it's performance is terrible in against nVIDIA , i think maybe the reason is because of nVIDIA's cheating in a few years ago about Geforce FX series in MadOnion's 3Dmark i've got no clue , but I prefer ATI to equivalent nVIDIA competitor , and also there's another reason about why I love ATI , it's driver naming scheme is just great compared to nVIDIA which i never understood it's terms

Here are some power consumption tests for the E8500 http://en.hardspell.com/doc/showcont.asp?news_id=2295&pageid=2296Turn off C1E and EIST and turn on DES. The E8500 is 6.976W, 4 phase power supply PA 98W when idle, from the picture we can see it is 4 phase. When load, DES changed to 8 phase power supply, power consumption is 29.39W When load the PA is 128W, DES 8 phase power supply.
