That Microcenter Price sure looks nice.  It is clocked the same as the Zotac one from Newegg.  I do prefer to say with Evga and Xfx as I have never had any problems with their video cards.  I would have to drive 70 miles to the nearest Microcenter/ and or Fry's do get any of the deals.

and the even better thing is ... compared to the Euro, the Dollar has an currency rate like the russian roubel or something 10 years ago ... good times to buy hardware (and travel the states for a few pennys)  Grin

Us dollar hit 35 year low compared to other currencies...

Oh and on topic, i really am loving these low GFX prices with good performance. And to think that the 8800GT started the trend.

Not really the 8800GT didn't start it, the 3850 did. When the 8800GT first came out the prices were like 300+ for that card.

My friend and I ordered him his eVGA 8800GTS 512 G92 on launch day (December 11th) from Newegg for $359 - now it's down to $259 as of the middle of February, just 2 short months.

in general - these are good days to buy new graphic cards ... I am very glad that ATI is back and can compete with Nvidia - good performances for a very low price - and i don't see any reason why this shouldn't continue the next month.  Grin
