How will AMD's low/mid cards compare to NVs?

I read somewhere(can't remember now) that the new NV  8xxx mid and low end cards scored ok in 3DMarks but then performance dropped off significantly when increasing AA and/or resolution in games.  Can someone help find that info, I'm at a loss now.

I know we don't have RV630 performance numbers yet but we got some possible leaked RV610 scores of 21xx in 3DMark I think.  Just wondering how they'll match up.

I don't know why they are releasing those weaklings when Dx10 games are certain to require more power.

I concur, the difference is not all about the power of the cards it relies more on the way the chip is designed and i think thats one of the strongest parts on ATi/AMD.On the other hand the way i see it Nvidia is making more horse power than ATi.
