Hi all!
Nice to see a review here of a real budget card (
http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1155&Itemid=1). Being on a budget myself I got a XpertVision GeForce 8500 GT Sonic, 256MB GDDR3. I can confirm the results of the Gainward card review. The XpertVision runs stock at core/memory 600/1200, but got it easily up to 700/1400 using the stock cooler. Have it running on my A64/4000+@2800, ASRock S939NF6G-VSTA and was amazed by the results compared to the onboard GeForce 6150SE.
Handles all games like a champ so far under Vista at 1280x1024. The GDDR3 and high clocks compared to other 8500GT definitly help.

I am sure the card will get me through the year.

Also no problem with my old no-name 350W PSU, 16A@12V. Was afraid the oc'd 4000+ and a GF8xxx PCIe card would be a bit too much for it but works like a charm!
Btw, card was just 79,99 Euro at Peluga in Vienna.
