From http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/DownloadableAssets/ ATI_Radeon_HD_2000_Handout.pdf (The handout that ATI made up regarding their HD series)...

No XL cards, no PRO 2900s, no XTXs... Plenty of 2600s, 2400s, and the good ole XT.

Why are these missing cards important? AMD didn't bother to mention any release dates at all. This was put up May 11th. The delays of the HD 2600 series and the HD 2400 series, both prominent on the PDF document linked to, are not being considered on the PDF. If they were, they wouldn't be on it.

Technically, this PDF document lists everything that ATI is going to release in this lineup (HD 2000), even the stuff that might not get out until, say, August. This is bad, because it looks like the series is going to extremely limited in its scope. This means it may quickly fade into obscurity.

What's worst is that there are none of the 2900 XTXs, XLs, or potentially, Pros, listed on this chart, likely meaning they aren't part of the series... Meaning the world may have to wait for the Refresh of the 2900s in the HD 2950 series, potentially coming later.

Oh, and AGP cards make a return. A few manufacturers on the list may also be new to you all, I don't remember hearing that GeCube would be putting out a 2900.
