Wow! Seems like the effect is magnified when played back in slow motion when this is really just what happens with each swift gun shot. I wonder if video games will reach a point where every bullet is simulated accurately like this. Though it'd be mostly pointless and unnoticeable during regular gameplay, it'd make replays played back in slow motion far more interesting.
No thanks. I don't want to blow 3250 USD on a motherboard, CPU, and GPU. I could have about five or six excellent complete gaming PCs for the same price.
Uncharted 2, while better than Modern Warfare 2, is barely a game. The game almost plays itself and it's just a string of pre-scripted actions. When people say it's like a movie, they have a point. To me, that's a bad thing. Games should be about freedom of interactivity, not flashy pre-scripted actions.
I would register, but I'm not sure if I'd even be active there. The game seems to be in limbo, especially now that a consumer version of Larrabee is off by at least a year or two. I like the meet the team picture, though. Who is the guy in the ceiling?
Modern Warfare 2 on PC sold more than the original on PC. I hope this doesn't mean more developers will take away features PC gamers have been enjoying for over a decade and charging us more for less.
