2  Welcome to Fudzilla Forum / Suggestion / Re: Article Commenting on: April 03, 2009, 09:37:30 AM
this is great news, I already contacted Fudo from the begining of FudZilla about commenting, but he replied that there's no plan for commenting on the site but there's the forum for discussing any article Smiley

this is great news, I hope you will be integrating the comment system with both the site and the forum so looking and adding comment wont require the reader to move into another site, all replies are shown under the article ( using AJAX to save long page load time when there's too much comments ) and a small comment box to add comments, if the user want to see all comments ( another page ) or want more advanced commenting system ( quote another comment for example ) then he must go to the forum ( a direct link on the article will be very nice )...
3  Hardware / Chipsets / do you see it possible ? on: April 25, 2007, 02:56:30 PM
You may know that Intel is moving to integrate the MC into the CPU, like what AMD did b4 with K8

+ they will use a serial bus with CSI, so they will replace that bulky Shared System bus thing they used for ages...

all these changes will make Intel's compatible chipsets look like current AMD ones... simple

the Northbridge will be just PCIe x16 bridge like what most AMD's ones now is

so will a company like nVIDIA make a one Northbridge that is capable of handling both CSI or HT ??

this NB will be connected to the SB with any type of buses ( in case of nVIDIA, it did use HT in this )

so nVIDIA will be able to build one chipset that can handle both AMD & Intel's CPU's

so they will cut the R&D very much as there will be no need to build two different NB for both platforms...

nVIDIA already did that for SB with the help of HT link, they did NB for both platform that uses HT link to connect to the SB, so they can use one SB design that fit both platform.. infact most chipset designers now is same, ATi used PCIe x4 link to connect NB to SB and they did use the same SB for both platforms... VIA uses there own bus too I don't remember now...

if this is really true and could be

then I'll not be surprised if ASRock maded a mobo that you can just plug a daughter board on it to be able to use AMD or Intel CPU on the same mobo !!
4  Hardware / Processors - CPU / Re: Barcelona to have 40% floating Point & 10+% Int Gains over X5355 on: April 24, 2007, 06:49:02 AM
Well.. it's very promising indeed

AFAIK, Penryn @ 3.3GHz has an 40% advatage over 2.88GHz Clevertown, while AMD says that barcelona will have up to 50% advantage over clock2clock Clevertown, thats mean that even Penryn can't compete with Barcelona, I just hope AMD realease it's CPU's in faster clock starting at 2.5 not ending with 2.5 as Intel is already preparing 3.0GHz+ Chips, I know it's hard for Intel to go for 3+ with 65nm unless pumping up the TDP alittle higher, and this will kick Intelsass very hard specially in server/workstation market
