1  Hardware / Graphics Cards / Re: PC HD 3850 AGP Question on: March 27, 2009, 09:06:11 AM
okay i made a new decision to made a new rig well its not total newer rig but i only change the motherboard that motherboard well be
Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTAthat worth 210Bucks the motherboard has total 4slot of Memory Module slot 2x DDR1 and 2x DDR2 i was planning to make 4GB RAM by buying PC667 Apacer 2GB DDR2 2X RAM which cost only 10Bucks each 2GB i know both DDR1 and DDR2 can't use at the same time but on motherboard Specification theres a note "Max. capacity of system memory: 2GB" which i don't know if 2x 2GB DDR2 RAM well work to make 4GB adding my old Pentium 4 3.0Ghz,80 Seagate, i'm gonna use this while waiting and saving for newer hard Disk and Proccessor to save some time xD

Motherboard Specification site "http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=4CoreDual-VSTA&s=775"
VGA supported LIST "http://www.asrock.com/mb/vga.asp?c=&Model=4CoreDual-VSTA"

thanks for viewing and your time if you have friendly comments and suggestion just drop a messege here xD

Unfortunately, after a closer look at that Asrock motherboard and its VGA support list (PS. ATi 9600/9550 series and all Matrox series VGA cards are NOT supported with AGI) I'm not sure that it would work with HD 3850 AGP ...... You should send an email to Asrock support and check with them....

yeah i agree with you dude cheers!, i sending them various reports lik every 25 days ever since on November2008 on that case but unfortunately they don't replied :X but on the other hand most of Asrock mobo has noted (Note. ATi 9600, 9550 series, and all Matrox series VGA cards are NOT supported with AGI.)i saw the 775Dual-915GL has it but it supports (ATI   Radeon 9800   Club 3D RADEON 9800) this would be 50/50 percent on HD 3850 AGP well work on my motherboard i let you know when i got that Card xD
