1  Hardware / Memory / Re: *Great Deal Alert* - 2GB of CORSAIR XMS2 Dual Channel DDR2 800 for $29! on: March 04, 2008, 01:53:39 AM
OUCH  Cry  I remember when I bought 2 gig it was like $275.00 for it.  But, that was some FREE MONEY THEN.  No way in hell I would ever pay that much for memory again!

3  Hardware / Graphics Cards / Re: Graphic card prices these days. on: March 02, 2008, 01:25:06 PM
That Microcenter Price sure looks nice.  It is clocked the same as the Zotac one from Newegg.  I do prefer to say with Evga and Xfx as I have never had any problems with their video cards.  I would have to drive 70 miles to the nearest Microcenter/ and or Fry's do get any of the deals.

4  Hardware / Processors - CPU / Re: Difference Between Q9450 Part Numbers BX80569Q9450 / BX80569Q9450A ? on: March 02, 2008, 12:52:13 PM
The only advantage you will get with a boxed CPU is a 3 year warranty vs a 90 day or one year warranty with a OEM CPU.  You will have to throw away the Intel fan and get a after market fan for it.

Been here since the start WAAAYY back like a year ago.  You guys seem to get info faster than a lot of the bigger hardware sites located in the states.  Keep up the good work.

6  Hardware / Chipsets / What Chipset are you currently running, anything goes! on: March 02, 2008, 01:05:01 AM
What chipset are you currently running?  I'm running two Intel P35 chipsets and one Intel x38 chipset.  All three machines are running good.  I also have a older AMD 4400+ 939 setup.  I'm curious as to how often people upgrade their INET only PC's?!
