Just curious, but what are the prices you guys and gals pay in the UK and Europe? I paid about 1,100 us dollars for the X6800 when it first came out and about 600 for the G80. What is the price difference?
I think it's only natural that SLI moves beyond the so-called SLI chip sets as the movement of the GPU go's dual core. I for one can't wait for the G92, as buying one card for about 600 dollars or 200 for the low end is a freakin steal. Here's hoping they get many of these to market so the price isn't way off base.
It would be nice if 64bit computing took over, but look how long it took 32bit to convert from 16. I don't think we will see 64bit mainstream for quite some time, maybe another 5 yrs or so.
Well, since no-one else either knows or cares to respond, I can confirm that MS did indeed change the EULA for OEM Vista. I don't know if it' in actual writing but I changed my hardware config and had no fuss from MS.
Does anyone know if they changed the EULA for the OEM Vista so it can be installed on more than one hardware config, or is it still tied to one machine for life?
Wasn't EFI actually created by someone other than Intel. I thought I read that somewhere a long time ago, I could be wrong. It could also be those drugs the military gives us here's the Wiki take on it-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extensible_Firmware_Interface.
I don't know how accurate this info is from here_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Magee_%28journalist%29- but the conjecture is interesting, ya have to read the talk back page for the real story. It seems you and the old boss "might" have a little in common ( I see a conspiracy theory poppin up here). The supposed similarities are interesting.
