Entry level

We wrote quite a lot about Geforce 9500GT and this is Nvidia’s 55nm entry level chip. It launches tomorrow and it looks that it will end up faster than the Geforce 8600 generation.

We need to underline that this new 32 stream processor chip with reference clock of 550MHz and Shaders at 1400MHz is actually a 55nm chip. Some overclocked cards will go all the way to 700MHz and maybe even higher and it is still a single slot card with a tiny cooler.

There will be one more card targeted exclusively at OEMs and system integrators called Geforce 9400GS and this card should also launch shortly.
