Claims 15 percent advantage

It looks
like Nvidia gave its partners a green light on revealing some official specifications and the new 9800 GTX+ has 128 Stream processors clocked at 1836MHz, a core clock of 738MHz and 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 memory clocked at 2200MHz.

Total memory bandwidth stays at 70.4GB/s while the texture Fill rate is 47.2 billion/second. The card supports Hybrid Power like the rest of the Geforce 9 generation, it supports 3-way SLI and the novelty that comes with these cards is Quantum effect marchitecture that is responsible for running Physics games on the GPU.

It is said that 9800GTX+ should be up to 15 percent faster, but we believe that this is the best case scenario and that you should expect less on average.
