Centrino 2 ready

Super Talent Technology has announced the immediate availability of its newest DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM modules.

According to Super Talent's press release, these modules support transfer rates of up to 10,664 MB/sec, which is 66% higher bandwidth than the one that can be achieved on DDR2-800 SO-DIMMs. The faster transfer rate isn't the only thing that these modules will bring, as they will also require only 1.5V, unlike the previous DDR2 which needed 1.8V.

The module is currently available as a 1GB DDR3-1333 module with CL9 timings, and is priced at less than US $99. This is quite good price for any DDR3, and we guess that the prices of DDR3 are finally going down.
