64MB DDR3 memory makes a difference

AMD790GX will surely be the fastest IGP chipset around. It will beat AMD's 780G performance by up to thirty percent, depending on the configuration.

ATI's secret weapon is called Sideport and this is a single memory chip that can boost the graphic performance.

According to AMD, Sideport will boost performance by 10 to 15 percent and this DDR3 memory will run at 400MHz, 533MHz or top 667MHz. Naturally, the 667MHz will run the board the fastest and in Crysis it promises close to a 15 percent increase, compared to 790GX performance without Sideport memory.

The new fast IGP chipset comes out at Computex 2008 that starts on June 3rd 2008.
