First graphic core over 1GHz is chipset


A motherboard manufacturer well know in China, who is targeting Europe and other markets, has managed to overclock yet to be launched AMD 780G chipset all the way to over 1GHz.

The company plans to launch AMD 780G+SB700 chipset-based, board-branded , J&W RS780UVD-AM2+  and this integrated board will come with VGA, DVI and HDMI ports.

The default clock of 780G (RS780) chipset is 500MHz, while these people managed to overclock it all the way to 1023MHz or twenty three MHz longer than a round speed of 1GHz .

First, they got to 1988MHz and with side port memory (AMD's turbo cache), they managed to break 2000 points in 3Dmark06 which is a great score for any IGP.
