The new Adamo Admire

Back when it was launched, Dell's pride and joy in the notebook world, dubbed Adamo, was a great piece of thin and elegant machinery meant for those with a US $1,799 deep pocket. Today, the game has changed and Dell dropped the Adamo's price below US $1000 with the new Adamo Admire model.

The price wasn't the only thing that has been cut down, so unlike the "Desire" model which featured a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 4GB of memory and 256GB SSD for storage, the new Dell Adamo Admire brings you a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB of memory and a 128GB of SSD storage. Main specs basically got cut in half and so was the price.

It still has the same 13.4-inch WLED display and all the goodies that were included with the previous version. Make no mistake though - even with these specs, Dell's Adamo will still attract plenty of of envious glances if you happen to take it out for a spin.

You can find the new Admire SKU here.
