With Geforce GT 220 and GT 240

In addition to the announced Pinetrail/Geforce 210 motherboard, Point of View is working on other motherboards that will pack some serious graphics power. The new ones should be similar to the previously announced Pinetrail/G210 based motherboard but will feature GT 220 and GT 240 graphics cards hooked up to the PCI-Express x1 slot.

We still don't know the exact specifications of these cards as POV is still testing them, but we do know that GT 220 might end up to be a passive card, while GT 240 will certainly be actively cooled.

If these two motherboards show to be a retail worthy products after testing we could be looking at Pinetrail that comes with graphics cards with 48 and even 96 stream processors which means quite a graphics punch for the puny Pineview.

We will certainly try to find out more as soon as we can.
