Most likely Tegra 2

There have been quite a few rumors regarding the Eee Pad for quite some time, but the last one is quite interesting as Asus apparently decided to go for Nvidia's Tegra on this one, and most likely a second generation of it considering its March 2010 release schedule.

The decision to go for Tegra is quite a surprise considering Asus' slow adoption of Nvidia platforms into its product portfolio. If you remember, Asus was very shy to use Nvidia's ION platform for quite some time, and it took a while for the Eee PC 1201N (Atom 330 and ION netbook) to appear on the market.

In any case, the best bet is that Asus will go for Tegra 2 as the launch date is set for March 2010 and the only specifications that have so far been rumoured are the multi-touch capable screen and probably Android or other Linux-based operating system.
