Serious Sam should come in 2010 |

Roman Ribaric, the CEO of Croteam, has recently said that Serious Sam 3 is "happening for sure" as the game is currently in the works, and that, if everything goes to plan, it is set to launch sometime in 2010.
At this point we don't know much else about the game, although back in July Ribaric said in an interview that the game will "drop the trademark cartoon visuals". Of course, the game should retain the gameplay and the general feel, but I guess it's too early to say.
This autumn, Croteam released Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, which is basically the original Serious Sam wrapped in some new HD engine goodness, but make no mistake that the game still has a lot to offer, including this pretty funny trailer.
Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is expected sometime in Q1 or Q2 2010 but in case you want to treat yourself to some HD flavored Serious Sam gameplay now, you can do so on Steam here.
