HTC think it is half baked

HTC is
likely to delay the launch of its first Android 2.0-based Passion smartphone to early 2010.

The outfit had announced that it would be in the shops before the end of 2009 but Digitimes reports that it wants to make further improvements to the software. The Passion machine will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU and equipped with a 3.5-inch multi-touch OLED display.

However it is clear that the HTC is still very passionate about Android. It is apparently now working on a new Android-powered smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard. The name of the beast is rumoured to be the HTC Espresso which is just what you need first thing on a Monday morning.
