A UK court has sentenced a religious studies teacher to 32 months in prison for seducing a 15-year-old boy on Facebook.
Madaleine Martin, 39, apparently showered her student with gifts,
including a mobile phone and tattoos. The affair lasted for eight days
and the court concluded the pair participated in consensual sexual
intercourse. In the end a security guard spotted the pair engaged in
oral sex on a parking lot.
Martin, a divorced mother of two, apparently created a fake Facebook
account to cover her tracks, but car park sex was a dead giveaway. The
boy quit school following the affair, as he became a subject of
taunting.
