As well as 1080p

It looks like the graphics core inside Intel's 2011 Cedarview Atom might look much like the one that we will see soon with Arrandale 32nm CPU with 45nm GPUs. The main difference of course will be that the Cedar Trail-D integrated graphics will be the part of the CPU and a native 32nm design, while Arrandale has 45nm stitched graphics core simply sitting on the same socket next to 32nm CPU.

The new Atom 2011 Cedar Trail-D  GPU brings DirectX 10 and 10.1 support as well as Open GL 2.1 and 3.0 and some future versions of OpenGL are not excluded, but it won't support DirectX 11.

The maximal resolution will be 1080p@120Hz or 2560x1600@60Hz which is definitely more than most of us need. Since this graphics core supports two independent displays it has support for eDP, HDMI 1.3a, DisplayPort 1.1a as well as legacy  VGA and LVDS interfaces.

Games drives are not expected to be fixed even at the time of launch of this product in 2011.
