Designed for Intel Core i7 systems

Kingston Technology has announced 12GB triple-channel HyperX memory kits in support of Intel's LGA 1366 Core i7 systems.

The DDR3 XMP-ready kit consists of six 2GB modules running at 1600MHz and 1.65V and works on six socket motherboards such as the Gigabyte GA-X58-UD6 and Asustek P6T Deluxe. It is designed for Windows 7 64-bit systems.

Kingston's HyperX 12GB DDR3 memory kits will compete with OCZ's 12GB DDR3 memory kits running at 1600MHz. However, the beast is not cheap. The new Kingston triple-channel DDR3 modules are currently shipping with a US$413 suggested retail price. This means it will be designed for people who are extreme gaming enthusiasts or visual graphics professionals or who have more money than sense.
