Roundup: AMD snatches the performance crown

As expected
and promised, AMD has finally lifted the NDA veil of the Hemlock, or most commonly known as the Radeon HD 5970. This dual GPU card is currently the fastest graphics card that money can buy and it looks like that the situation won't change any time soon, at least not until next year.

The card features a total of 3200 stream processors, dual 256-bit memory interface and 2GB of GDDR5 memory. It runs at 725MHz for the core and delivers computing power of almost 5 TeraFLOPS. The card has an idle TDP of 42W while maximum TDP is 294W. It features a dual slot cooler and two DVI and Mini DisplayPort output.

In general, all reviews agree that this is the fastest graphics card that you can buy, and there is no question about it. You can find some reviews below and we'll update the article when more reviews show up.
