With Connectify

WiFi
has been a godsend to many a user on the move, but we've now heard of an application that will transform your notebook into a WiFi hotspot.

The application, aptly dubbed Connectify, will require Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 and, of course, a WiFi card. When run, the application should provide network connection for basically any device featuring WiFi.

The devices connecting to the "hot-spot" will require no additional software installation, and the encryption in question is WPA2-Personal (AES), meaning no unauthorized devices will be connecting to your device.

You'll notice that the company fiercely supports Windows 7 and they even remarked in the FAQ section that Windows 7 is such an improvement that "you're better off upgrading than waiting for us to get all this working on an older version of Windows."

You can find out more and download the software on Connectify's website here.
