The HD 5870 and HD 5750

Already
pixellized a while back, Sapphire has officially introduced both of its new Vapor-X cards, the HD 5870 and the HD 5750 Vapor-X. Both cards feature ATI Eyefinity support and have two DVIs, an HDMI and DisplayPort outputs as well as Sapphire's custom, non-reference cooling based on Vapor Chamber technology.

The Vapor-X HD 5870 has already been detailed, and this one features 1600 stream processors, a 256-bit memory interface paired up with 1GB of GDDR5 memory working at 5000MHz, which is a 200MHz overclock when compared to the reference card. The 40nm Cypress GPU got a slight overclock as well and is working at 870MHz (850MHz reference).

The cheaper Vapor-X HD 5750 has 720 stream processors, 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and even lower factory overclock. This one works at 710MHz for the 40nm Juniper core and 4640MHz for the mentioned 1GB of GDDR5 memory. This is a rather symbolic overclock as the reference car works at 700/4600MHz.

Both cards will include Dirt 2 download coupon and should be available in retail pretty soon. Alternate.de has them both listed, but still not available, with a price tag set at €439 for the Vapor-X HD 5870, while the Vapor-X HD 5750 is listed at €154,90 for the full-retail pack (€149,90 for the lite-retail).

You can find them listed here.
