Appraised at $1.241 billion

According to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, Acer has become the most valuable Taiwanese brand in 2009. The total value of the brand has been appraised at $1.241 billion, which was enough to earn the top spot on the list.

A glance at the top-20 list from 2008 and 2009 reveals that Acer, previously trailing Trend Micro and Asustek, managed to pull off quite a feat by managing a jump over the brands that surely don't need introduction.

While this might not mean much to users, it still goes to show that a company's never-say-die attitude surely helps, and that Acer brand is long to stay.
