12-inch Eee PC1201N

According
to some early listings, Asus is planning to launch a 12-inch Eee PC with Nvidia's ION chipset.

Unsurprisingly, it's powered by Intel's Atom N270 processor, but unlike most netbooks it packs 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive and a 1366x768 12-inch screen. It also features HDMI and n-draft wireless, and it seems Asus is boasting 11 hours of use on its 6-cell battery.

Bear in mind that this is all still unofficial. Availability and pricing are anyone's guess, but we don't expect it to come cheap.
