Has four CPUs
AMD's platform that should get the chipmaker better Xmas notebook
sales is simply called Tigris and it includes four different CPUs.
The top one, is carried with AMD Turion II Ultra M600 series
and 2.7GHz is the fastest of them all. It comes with 2MB L2 cache and 35W TDP.
The runner up is AMD Turion II M500 series and M520 is the
fastest one clocked at 2.3GHz. it comes with 1MB cache and not so impressive 35W
which is quite a lot for mobile dual-core.
Third in line is AMD Athlon II M300 series and M320 works at
2.1 GHz has 1 MB of cache and this dual-core also features an unimpressive 35W TDPs.
The last in line is single-core Sempron M100 series and its
fastest representative works at 2.0GHz has 512KB cache. This one has 25W TDP,
not so great for a single-core, but bear in mind that AMD has a „2nd generation ultra
mobile“ platform with somewhat milder TDPs.
It should be a good idea to remind you that all four of
these different CPUs are based on the Caspian processor.
