Xbox exclusive over, now GOTY edition offers it all

Bethesda has finally let it slip that PlayStation 3 Fallout 3 players will finally get to enjoy the additional Fallout 3 content that was exclusive to the Xbox 360 for so long. In addition, Bethesda will release a Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition that will include all of the downloadable content for both the PlayStation 3 as well as the Xbox 360.

PS3 owners will be able to download Broken Steel on September 24th, followed by Operation: Anchorage and the Pitt on October 1st, and Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta on October 8th.

As for the Game of the Year Edition which includes it all for each platform, you will have to wait till October 13th when it will arrive on dealer shelves. Just in case you are wondering, the Game of the Year Edition with all of the DLC content will cost Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners $59.99. If you happen to be wondering if Bethesda is going to show PC owners any love, the answer is “Yes,” and they are going to offer the Game of the Year Edition under the Games for Windows banner for $49.99. All in all, considering the amount of additional DLC content they are throwing in as part of the deal, this isn’t a bad price at all, no matter which platform you are on.
