Dual as well

If all goes well AMD should have Phenom II Black edition quad-core CPU ready for launch in June 2010. First EVT samples should show in January 2010 while mass production  should start already in March, but the official introduction might have to wait all the way until June 2010.

Phenom II Black Edition dual-core has the same schedule as well as some lower power desktop parts which definitely indicates that AMD has a new revision of K10.5 core in both quad and dual flavours.

The quad-core should have TDPs all the way to 45W or less but this depends on the clock and the model, but at press time, we have no information about any frequencies of these upcoming parts.

The September refresh of AMD's mobile line includes a tweaked Athlon K8 core and if you don’t want that and you are waiting for K10.5, 45nm dual and quad cores, just hold your breath until June 2010.
