Lisbon is Opteron 4000

Magny Cours is an eight and twelve core server high performance part and as AMD confirmed Fudzilla it comes in Q1 2010. There will be one more Opteron, codenamed Lisbon and something that uses Socket C32 and uses DDR3 memory and according to AMD itself, it should be launching in Q2 2010.

They didn’t want to give away all the details from what they said, the main goal of this CPU is to be energy efficient. The branding will be Opteron EE 4000 series, that is also what AMD said to us in our Friday night conversation.

Apart of what we’ve heard from server guys at AMD, here is what they posted two days ago about this CPU, here.
