Multimedia stuff

We've
spent a few days in Silicon Valley and one of our main goal was to try to find what is Apple doing with two ex-AMD top engineers.

The rumour in the Valley is that Apple is making a chip of its own and that Bob Drebin, AMDs CTO and Raja Koduri ATI’s CTO who went to Apple are probably there to make a killer team that can pull this project off.

Bob could be the one to drive the hardware team, while Raja is definitely working on some sort of software support. Just to be on the safe side we didn't talk to Bob or Raja, and our confirmation comes from independent, but multiple sources.

Everyone here believes that they are working on a multimedia chip, most likely one that they will use in future iPhone and similar MID devices and even people like ATI and Nvidia expect that Apple might come out a the chip of its own.
