60 percent of companies will skip Windows 7 |

Can't afford it
According to a survey of more than a thousand companies ScripLogic, as many as six in ten won't bother upgrading to Windows 7.
Researchers from ScripLogic claim that companies are cutting back
software updates as part of wider cost cutting schemes and simply
can't afford to get Windows 7. What's worse, many companies, including
Intel, have already shunned Vista, as it was unstable.
Just 5.4 companies are planning to upgrade to Windows 7 by the end of
the year. A further 34 percent will go Windows 7 in 2010, while 60
percent don't plan to upgrade at this point.
The main reason for staying away from the new OS is obviously a lack of money, but some are also concerned about compatibility.
