Simply awesome as you can see

We’re sure that quite a couple high-def enthusiasts have thought about Wii’s potential should it ever arrive in a long-rumored 720p HD package, and thankfully one user decided to see for himself.

A user codenamed bee on neogaf forums posted some pics of Super Mario Galaxy played through a Wii PC emulator, and although we’re not talking true HD here, the results are still excellent. These are basically upscaled photos, but at least it shows that such great results would require minimum effort.

Of course, we can’t forget Nintendo’s graphics team which tends to deliver great level designs and beautiful settings that, as sales results show day in and out, almost eliminate the need for better graphics, but why settle for anything but the best, eh?

You can view the photos here.
