Pineview-D dual

Intel has informed its precious partners that it plans to have Atom D510 dual-core ready for Q4 2009. It looks like Intel should start production in last weeks of September, that will put Intel in a quite good position, as it should be ready to launch the product in early Q4 2009.

Qualification samples should be ready in late August and this should be the last step before the production start in September. Beta drivers are scheduled for August and production ones should be there for September. This is Intel’s planned time line, provided things go as planned, of course.

We still don’t know when Intel plans to launch its new dual and single-core all-integrated Atoms, but as far as the D510 dual-core goes, it should be ready to launch in Q4.
