Upcoming Kings Creek platform will put Lynnfield quad and Clarkdale 32nm dual core together with 5 series chipset, and this platform mainly targets mainstream PC users.

The CPUs are based on Nehalem design concepts and they both have hyperthreading and the chipset has support for µArch + Braidwood memory technologies, something that should make your system faster and more responsive.

Braidwood should launch in Q1 2010 with P57 chipset and it promises SSD-like performance that should boost mainstream PC performance to a new level.

The system should have the better response, better boot and better power saving. Braidwood is Intel’s new try to have the flash memory inside of the PC, that should boost PC speeds as they tried to do this with turbo memory approach and this time, Intel hopes to have a bit more success.

Braidwood should launch in Q1 2010 in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions and they are all based on new 34nm flash process.
