Nvidia is shipping its NV218 codenamed chip that gets branded as GT210 to a big OEMs but so far, retailers were not informed about when a GT220 branded card will actually hit the channel.

The original plan was to have these cards shipping in June, but so far we haven’t heard that any of the partners have included them in their portfolio. It looks like that the card is coming earlier in July.

Let me refresh your memory, the card codenamed NV216 will end up with GT220 brand and is a four layer 128-bit board in 40nm process and 1GB DDR3 memory that should replace Geforce 9500GT in the channel.
